League Fees
The League Entry fee was agreed to upped to £75 to cover extra cost due to the use of rackemapp which was free the previous season.
The Entry fee for Singles & Doubles competitions was agreed to be kept at £5 per player. (i.e. £5 for Singles and £10 per Doubles Team)
League Rules
It was agreed to keep the 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw.
The start time of 8pm was agreed to be kept after a proposal of starting at 7:30pm.
It was voted in that in the event of a team dropping out of the league AFTER the HALWAY point, that only the points and merits AFTER the Halfway point of the league would be removed.
Any team dropping out BEFORE the HALFWAY point will have their results removed.
Singles and Doubles
ALL Entrants MUST HAVE PLAYED 4 LEAGUE MATCHES to be eligible to enter these competitions.
it was voted to change the Singles and Doubles competitions to be best of 7 instead of best of 5.
Results
This season we will be continuing to use the Rackemapp software to enter the results.
If teams are unable to access the app then they may write down the matches on a scorecard and send it to the relevant groups to be uploaded by the committiee.
Cup Competitions
The Cups will be a straight knockout format, with the 1st round losers and pre-lim losers of the Super Cup going into the Consolation Cup.
It was agreed that the legs of cup matches would not be played back to back, so that teams not involved would not play for two consecutive weeks.
It was voted in that players must have played 4 LEAGUE MATCHES to be eligable to play in the quater finals stage onwards
In the event of a tie after both legs have been played it was voted on to keep the best of three extra frames instead of a blackball shootout.
Cancellation of games
To postpone a match 24 hours notice must be given to the opposing team and to the committee. The fixture should then be rearranged within 4 weeks of the original date, But teams may wish to play before the original date. If a team postpones a match then that team can not postpone another match without playing the first postponed match. Failure to do so will result in the first match being forfeited.
Games Cancelled within 24 hours
Games cancelled within 24 hours will be forfeited and the opposing team awarded a 10-0 win.
The team postponing the fixture will also receive a 1 point deduction.
Finals Night
The venue of Finals night will be decided at a later date in the season, with Captains given a choice of venues to vote for.
The committee may postpone fixtures in the event of bad weather and would give as much notice as possible.
